To enroll in this course, you will be required a minimum pre-intermediate level of English proficiency. The program spans a total of 8 weeks and consists of weekly synchronous classes or scheduled videoconference sessions (via Zoom). The course concludes with an integrative oral presentation. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a digital certificate of completion and approval.
This course provides elements that will enable you to acquire strategies to create an oral presentation based on central content from scientific articles. You will be able to produce a concise and coherent written framework in English that will organize and reflect the text’s main content. The preparation of the preliminary written work (PPT) will facilitate the transition to the oral presentation in English, which will be enriched by an appropriate academic vocabulary.
This course consists of 2 modules over a total duration of 8 weeks. Each module includes weekly online synchronous classes (videoconference sessions via Zoom) conducted in English. The process is supported by reference materials on linguistic content and a written assignment that will be gradually developed (PPT). The course will culminate with an integrative oral presentation. Upon completion, participants will receive a digital certificate of completion and approval.

- Selection of Central Textual Ideas and Identification of Key Linguistic Elements: This involves choosing the main ideas from the text and recognizing the principal linguistic features.
- Designing the Oral Presentation (PPT): Creating the structure and visual elements for the presentation. Academic Writing of Brief Statements in English: Implementing linguistic and academic resources (General Academic Vocabulary) to write concise and coherent textual pieces.
- Oral Presentation: Developing speaking skills in English. Recommendations for using linguistic and academic elements (General Academic Vocabulary) to enhance the oral dissertation in English.
